I want to thank my mommy guest Michele last week for participating in my
podcast! It was an amazing and honest conversation about what we go through as women and moms. It’s a challenge, but one that always makes us smile. There is no greater obstacle than raising kids, because it’s the kind of challenge that gives us such a fantastic
reward!
It’s not easy raising children no matter how old, married, separated, single,
or even how many kids you have. However, it’s a wonderful thing to be a mom even with its ups and downs. Last night we took the kids to see Toy Story 4 and it was a spur of the moment thing with a nice memory that was created from it. The kids were happy to
go, but I think they were happier because they got to stay up past their bedtime and eat popcorn and snacks. It was a nice summer time treat for all of us. I find myself trying to hold on to more of the little memories now. Maybe because my oldest is turning
10 this month and that makes me feel like all the little kid moments with him are going to become less and less. I want to hold on tight to every special memory. How much longer will he believe in Santa, the Elf on the Shelf, and the Easter bunny? I want it
to last as long as possible. Gosh… I had know idea when I sat down to write this blog it was going to be so emotional. It makes you think when people say “it flies by”, it really does!
